Ipod Problems? No Problem!

Don’t panic if your iPod has a sad face or is frozen. You love your tunes and it is obvious, so let’s try to get it fixed before you absolutely freak out. There are even iPod recovery programs you can download so not all is lost.

The most important thing is to not plug your iPod into iTunes. It is set up where it will mess up and you won’t be able to retrieve your lost items. Stay away from this program until you have tried to recovery your data. When you have done this then you can go back to iTunes.

Try to reset your iPod according to the instructions you find online for your specific model. Look for the directions for your model by searching for to unfreeze an iPod and it will tell you specifically what to do. Follow the instructions and if your iPod comes back to life your problem is solved.

If this works and your iPod comes back to life you are good to go. But if it does not help the problem then you may need a recovery program. The software can be found online easily and many sites have them. Some are free of charge.

When you find the recovery program you want to use you can follow the quick start guide to get you going. This will give you specific instructions on how to recover your data. It is simple to follow. Just do them step by step. If your iPod got wet put it immediately in uncooked rice. The rice will soak up any of the water that is in your iPod and hopefully it will recover.

So don’t have a sad face if you see a sad face on your iPod. Follow the above steps and hopefully your date will return. You can have your date back before you know it.
